Apple iPad 4th Generation reveiled, as predicted

As reported last week that Apple will be launching a new, 4th generation iPad besides the all-new iPad Mini showcased at the San Jose event, and our prediciton turned to be spot on.
The new Apple with Retina Display is the LTE updated version of the iPad 3 which was unveiled just a few months ago and now features a faster A6X processor, and a Lightning port which was first seen on the iPhone 5.
    Apple iPad 4th generation specifications:
Specs have remained pretty similar to that of the previous generation release just 6-months ago however there have been some big changes, most notably in the processing department.
The iPad 4th generation has a completely new A6X chip, which is 2x faster (processing and graphics) than the A5X processor found on the previous generation )iPad 3).
It is an improved A6 processor (like the one found on iPhone 5) and was designed by Apple and built by Samsung. The improved processor + GPU is a great improvement looking at all these pixels the iPad needs to push.
Elsewhere the iPad's Retina Display remains unchanged. However there have been big changes for wireless performance with the 4th generation iPad now featuring LTE support.
WiFi has been upgraded with the iPad with Retina Display now offering twice as fast WiFi speeds making it even more capable to deal with the new spectrums.
The addition of the Lightning connector instead of the traditional 30-pin connector will not only unify the current generation of Apple portable devices on the accessories front, but will also allow expanded connection capabilities via adapters. We cite a Lightning-to-USB connector, and a Lightning-to-SD card reader adapter as examples.
Apple iPad 4th generation release date and price:
You can pre-order Apple's latest big-boy tablet from October 26, if you are not interested in it's younger sibling, the new iPad Mini which can be pre-ordered in the same time frame. Shipping for the WiFi-only version starts November 2 and pricing starts at $499 for the 16 GB Wi-Fi only version.
